Katz 360 Sales Expands with Addition of
Two Senior Directors

New Hires Add Depth in Client Relations, New Business Development

New York, July 20, 2009 – Katz 360 Sales, the digital sales arm of the Katz Media Group, today announced the addition of two senior sales directors in New York and Los Angeles to its rapidly expanding Digital group.

Thomas Mancusi joins Katz 360 NY as a Senior Account Director from CBS Radio Sales in New York, where he was Director of Sales. Erik Carlson, who was a Senior Sales Associate at Google, takes on the role of Senior Account Director for Katz 360 in Los Angeles. Both executives are charged with monetizing Katz 360’s growing digital platforms as they work with advertisers and their agencies on digital executions.

“We are building a strong team to advance the message of radio and television’s evolution into the digital space, and I am excited that Thomas and Erik will help us lead the charge,” said Brian Benedik, President of Katz 360. “Both have assembled significant track records in building long-term client relationships and developing unique cross-platform integration opportunities. And I’m confident they will do an outstanding job of promoting our digital offerings to Chief Marketing Officers and Brand Managers as a one-stop shop to create innovative geo-targeted campaigns that can be customized to any advertiser’s needs.”

The Katz 360 division was launched in May 2008 and is charged with selling four digital platforms under the Katz Online brand: digital audio, mobile, database segmentation and display. These products have been built by aggregating the digital inventory of Katz Media’s radio and television publishers along with some of the largest brands on the web.

All four digital offerings are sold by a dedicated group of 12 Katz 360 Digital salespeople along with over 300 Account Executives within Katz Media. These sales agents collaborate to optimize the experience for national advertisers and their agencies.

Last year, Katz 360 launched the Katz Online Network, which now consists of most of the industry’s terrestrial audio broadcast streams and most pure-play webcasters, such as AccuRadio.com, Digitally Imported, RadioIO, 977Music.com and others. This scale allows the Katz Online team to customize content selections for any of its advertisers.  Katz 360 is experiencing significant revenue growth for the Network in 2009 as more national advertisers are discovering the benefits of Internet Radio with real-time metrics, seamless ad insertion, geo-targeting and campaign optimization.

With this year’s addition of broadcasters such as Greater Media, Beasley Broadcast Group, ICBC Broadcast Holdings, Lincoln Financial Media, Service Broadcasting, Millenium Radio Group, and The Content Factory’s “Dan Patrick Show,” the Katz Online Network delivers more than 52 million listener sessions per month and aggregates well over 4 million listeners a week.
