KATZ MEDIA GROUP HOSTS AFTER-PARTY FOR NABOB
25TH ANNUAL COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS DINNER

New York, March 26, 2009 – Katz Media Group hosted the after-party for the The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) 25th Annual Communications Awards Dinner on March 19, 2009. Comedian and radio personality Steve Harvey hosted the star-studded evening honoring African-American legends and leaders in entertainment and broadcasting.

“The NABOB Communications Awards Dinner celebrates remarkable talents from radio, television and film, and we were delighted to once again take part in this extraordinary event,” said Brian Knox, Senior. Vice President of Corporate Diversity for Katz Media Group.

The NABOB 2009 honorees include: Legendary actress Cicely Tyson; soul singer and songwriter, known as "The Ice Man", Jerry Butler; American Gospel musician Andrae Crouch; Grammy-nominated American R&B singer-songwriter, Keyshia Cole; Honorable Eric Holder, Attorney General of the United States; Singer, Chaka Khan; and American comedienne and actress Mo’Nique. The legendary female group LaBelle provided the evening entertainment.

NABOB is a non-profit corporation and the only trade organization representing the interests of African-American owners of radio and television stations across the country.
